This is a team working on a giant lobster.  Scary, huh?

Gloria Fric (aka The Dragon Lady) heads up a team building a big castle.  The sand is packed very firmly into forms (shown blue).  Then the form is removed, leaving a tower of sand that is very firm and can be carved.

Leslie Willy and his Island Boys had fun creating their first attempt at sand sculpting.  They were pretty tired since they had provided security for the event and had just spent the whole night on the beach, watching over the sculptures.  Thanks, guys!
