Master sculptors from all over the U.S. and
abroad compete, creating intricate large sculptures of sand that are incredible
works of art. You have to see it to believe it!
The three-day event is half a mile long on the beautiful Gulf Coast in sunny
Port Aransas. It is one of the biggest sand sculpture events in the Midwest.
This is the official State of Texas Sand
Sculpting Festival.
Whataburger is sponsoring a Youth Tent which
will have free games and activities for the kids. Humana is sponsoring a
Senior's Tent with programs and activities for seniors.
Over 65,000 people attended last
year’s event. The extensive television and newspaper coverage of the
contest gave us exposure to
over 2 million people in South Texas and around the country.
